Hello again! Sorry about the long break. Tragedy in the family. Anyway, the movie business has been overloaded with news of upcoming movies in the past weeks. For example, it was reported that Kiefer Sutherland has signed on to do a movie version of the hit show "24", as well as three more seasons of the show. The movie will be a two hour representation of a 24 hour day, which in my opinion completely undermines what made the show so popular...to be aired in real time!!! Meanwhile, the new drama "United 93", the 9/11 movie which opens next week, has been stirring up controversy left and right. The latest bit of news is that the Iraqi actor who plays the lead terrorist in the movie was supposedly not allowed to go to the premiere. And of course there's the talk that the movie comes two soon after the attacks. So are you going to see it? If anyone's actually reading this blog, respond and tell me! And finally, Tom Cruise had yet another 500,000,000,000 interviews plugging his new movie, "Mission Impossible III". You know what? Stop interviewing the guy and focus on the movies! Look, he's a wack job, we get it, so stop lecturing him on the consequences of Oprah's freak fest and concentrate on the good movies he's made. And he's made a lot of them. But...to look back on that one day when Tom went bananas, here's the link. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5883772879840922003&q=Tom+cruise+on+Oprah&pl=true Sigh...

WHAT A WACK JOB. I MEAN, SERIOUSLY.

Anyway, I'll try to be back regularly to update you on movie news. If anything else moviewise comes to mind, post it on the blog.
